Coronavirus – The New Normal?

Nearly two years ago I was writing about how hard it was to be in isolation for three weeks! How little we knew then about what was to come. No-one has come out of this unchanged, and many of those changes are proving difficult to come to terms with. My partner, Pete, and I are seeing more people who are struggling physically and emotionally with the effects of Covid and what it has done to our society. Slowly, and with some trepidation, we are starting to emerge from under the cloud of Covid and we are having to adjust to a new normal. Things will not return to the old normal, so we are faced with creating a new way of being with each other and with the world at large. But it is not easy. More than ever being kind, tolerant and patient with each other is the only way to repair what has been broken or put aside. While many things have divided us, we all share one great gift – our humanity.

I wish all the best to you and your loved ones.
